Love through letters

I’m sorry to disappoint you but this blog is not going to be issuing the next story of dramatic circumstances of romance and love. Instead it is about friendship and how one can keep a relationship with a dear friend through the means of letters.

True friendship is a considerable hard bond to break, almost impossible. Yet once you are forcibly separated to different countries it can be extremely hard to keep that unique bond.

Yes there are easy means to communicate, social networking, emails etc but many feel it’s obligatory to contact past friends through these means, not necessarily because they want to. Putting a great deal of effort into something means a whole lot more to someone rather than typing a measly message.

A best friend and me have found the perfect solution, writing letters. Receiving a letter in the post means the world especially when it’s from someone who truly cares. Taking the time to write a letter, considering the perfect words and details to include, putting your heart and soul onto a piece of paper means a lot more than a simple typed message.

Don’t get me wrong typing a message can convey someone’s feelings perfectly, but it’s not exactly personal. Peeling pack the seal and enticing out a letter brings great excitement to one. It’s a great pleasure I experience every few weeks after receiving a letter from my best friend.

True friendships can never be broken whatever the circumstances, you may not be seeing a person for eight months but the letters you converse make you feel like only meters away. A true bond can never be broken and real friendships will never fade whatever the distance.

Love through letters.
