Natty is a Reggae singer, songwriter with a message. Although he is relatively unheard of, in respect to mainstream music, he has a large loyal fan base from all over the globe. His numerous tours have been very successful with many sell out dates which including his debut at large reggae festival, One Love.

The singer was born in San Francisco, California living there until the age of 1, when he moved to London. American culture has not directly influenced his song writing, although American artists have. His parent’s musical tastes, as well as past and present issues affect much of Natty’s lyrics.

Natty’s first job in the music industry was working in a London recording studio as a runner, making cups of tea for workers. His career developed and he eventually became a sound engineer.

Natty decided to put together a four-piece band whom played at Open Mic performances. The success of the group lead to production of club nights called Vibes and Pressure dedicated to the band. These gigs were extremely popular and managed to attract the attention of big time producers Atlantic Records.

Man Like I his first album was released in 2008 debuting at number 21 in the U.K. album chart. The song July was released as his first single. The album is full of catchy, soulful songs suitable for any mood.

Natty writes extremely passionately about the treatment of blacks and honestly about life. His songs are refreshingly different from the normal chart hits with great rhythms and truthful lyrics.

The singer has great compassion, holding certain values particularly close to his heart; many of these are portrayed by his music. He has recently set up a pledge campaign where he auctions personal treasure of in order to raise money for The Sarcoma Research Fund in honor of John Dollar who helped co produce his first album.

The auction includes items such as a Natty’s first acoustic guitar along with original song sheets and signed CD’s. He also offers producing opportunities and personal home performances particularly for high bidders.

Natty is an inspirational artist who’s lyrics are full of compassion. His quirky songs are truly unique and portray the true heart and soul of the singer. He is truly an amazing artist.
