exciting moments

On October 2, I have played my best football game ever. I played offense, defense, and kick return receiver.

While playing cornerback, I made some decent tackles. Tackling is always my weakest skill, but as I practice hard and gain more experience during games, I feel that I have improved my tackling skill. I have overcome my fear of hitting people, so now I just need to make sure that I am able to tackle them down when I first hit them.

While playing tight-end, I caught three passes. Two of the passes were from Alex Alvirez, and one of them was from Miles Munding-Becker. Moreover, I almost got a touchdown when I caught the ball from Miles. I remembered that I jumped in the air, and then turned my body to catch the ball. While I was running toward the end zone, I got tackled down at the one yard line. Although it is unfortunate that I didn’t get a touchdown, I had gained many yards for my team, and later my teammate scored a touch down.

While I was playing as a kick return receiver, I got hit the hardest in my football career. When I received the ball and tried to run, I got hit by stomach with the helmet. According to the spectators, the helmet directly hit my stomach and then my body was bent in the air. After I got hit, I curled and lay down on the field. I was shivering. I felt that all my organs were disordered and I wanted to throw up. Luckily, I felt better after resting a while, and then I could still participate in the game.

I tackled people, I caught ball, and I got hit —  all the exciting moments happened to me in this football game. I felt that I love this sport more than before, and I will dedicate myself in the field more next time.
