Pink eye

To clear up some confusion, I did not get pink eye by engaging in unholy activities. My current hypothesis is that I got it at the motel I was staying at when I went to play volleyball or at the tournament and when I shook hands with the other team and then wiped my forehead, which caused the bacteria to get in my eye. I’m not a doctor, so I don’t know all the symptoms, but I can share the ones I was experiencing. The main few things were redness in my eyes, which made people a bit suspicious that I was doing some corrupt activities, itchiness in both my eyes (since I had it in both eyes), and the most interesting one was I was my eyes were sensitive to light so things look either really blurry or really bright I would go outside and just get blinded, and if I look at a lightbulb, I would see rainbows around it in a circle. Honestly, it wasn’t the worst thing I’ve experienced before. I would definitely rather have it than pink eye than a fever, so my rating is 4.5/10.

I.

you remember me as a pensive, emotional soul.

you remember the intricate, twisty inner-workings of my mind.

you were always “there” for me when i needed you.

that’s why it took me so long.

maybe i was so used to the comfort of your shadow

that it never dawned on me to leave it.

i deserve the shine you always used to get.

it’s been hard accepting some of it now,

now that you’re gone.

you still pop up every now and then,

but the pain you bring is only temporary.

thank god.

II.

we never were close.

but, you and i learned to

live with each other.

we got wrapped up in our long conversations,

laughing at the carefully placed jokes.

but, you’re a hard pill to swallow,

the fact that i’ll never be enough for you.

cool enough.

funny enough.

kind enough.

enough.

so, even if it’s hard for me now,

i just have to take a deep breath,

close my eyes,

and force myself to take you in.

III.

you’re a sheep in wolf’s clothes.

your little red riding hood is enough to

hide your long, wiry fur,

your sharp, gutting claws.

i’m just a cookie in your basket,

as you skipped along the pebbly path

to grandma’s house.

i’m just tired of falling out

and you letting me crumble to pieces.

“LOVING HIM WAS RED”

After almost two years since her last album Speak Now, my favorite American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift FINALLY released her fourth studio album called “RED” on October 22, 2012 through Big Machine Records.

I have been waiting for so long for this brand new album. And there are 16 songs in this album which are led by the lead song – “We are never ever getting back together”.

The song soon became a worldwide commercial success and the top of the iTunes charts all over the world and sold sold 623,000 copies in the first week!!

“I wrote a song called ‘Red,'” said Swift. “Thinking about what that means to me and all the different emotions that are written about on this album, they’re all pretty much about the kind of tumultuous, crazy, insane, intense, semi-toxic relationships that I’ve experienced in the last two years . . . There’s nothing beige about any of those feelings, so I called the record Red.”

Defeated Again

Once I again I walked off of another teams field not feeling the great feeling of victory

This past weekend the team traveled up to Los Olivos, CA to compete against the Dunn Earwigs on their parents weekend, just as we did last year.

We went into the game with high hopes, and a new play series that we had worked on all week.

We arrived at the school, and right of the bat the day was not going as planned.

Somehow the ball bag was left back at school, some 2 hours away.

We did not have our own game balls, or our own kicking tee.

We put that aside and made do, and went into our pre game routine of bananas, pretzels, and stretching.

Our Defensive Coordinator John Wickenhaeuser had dome some research that bananas and pretzels before a game does the body good if that comment seemed a little odd.

During our warm ups that same nauseous feeling returned, and I was once again off my game.

I even tried to take medicine to make this feeling go away, but it is clear that it is nerves, and I just need to be hit a few times so that I don’t think about it as much.

When the game started Dunn quickly scored their first touchdown, and we weren’t too worried, that happens in the game of football.

The World (as we know it) is Coming to an End [[Pt. 1]]

It’s very hard not to get sad when thinking about the world and how horrible a place it can be. It’s very hard to remember the other lives that are being abused today, when my life is so easy. It’s very hard when you know you can’t fix these problems that plague society. It makes my blood boil.

Right now, people are living in fear. In fear of their government, in fear of their people, in fear of disease, in fear of something.

Burma, Southeast Asia, 2007.

Monks are holy and sacred figures, the symbols of peace and humanity in Burma. They are religious leaders who focus on the tranquility of life and don’t involve themselves in politics, that is, until the summer of 2007.

The political standing of Burma is corrupt, savage, and inhumane to put it lightly. The government, an organization of people meant to protect the welfare of their fellow Burmese, has caged their people and censored the news. Their goal was to disband people, to prevent civilians from joining together because two people are stronger than one, and 100 people are stronger than 10. Nobody speaks in fear of being taken by undercover government officials. Their voices aren’t heard. The people are mute. The people are afraid. The people are waiting for an answer, for a solution.

She’s a Beauty

She is a beauty. Her skin is a flawless, radiant white. Sometimes she is shy and shields her lips but sometimes she is bold, and opens her mouth; a striking red is revealed. She is all looks and she is all brains. She can make precise calculations and she will never be lost. She is a good listener, very obedient, and will do what she is told. But boy oh boy, can she sing. She can belt out notes at the top of her lungs, and she can hum a tune. Her voice is one that makes her peers quiver with envy. She is very athletic, she can run fast and she can run with grace. She is talented. She is perfect. She is the car of my dreams.

BMW 335i red leather

The BMW 335i hardtop convertible is the car for me. Just the other day, I was setting up an appointment for my behind-the-wheel test at the DMV, and I was thinking about my future car. Only one car came to mind.

A year ago, while I was walking through a BMW dealership, a certain hardtop convertible had caught my eye and stole my heart.
