My ears are full of screaming and my arm just couldn’t stop waving with other people.
My eyes are obsessed with the colorful lights and my heart just couldn’t stop beating to the same rhythm as the music.
This is surely an unforgettable night – Nov. 3rd, 2012.

BIGBANG is a popular Korean K-Pop singer group from Korean Entertainment company “YG Family(link)”. The group is made of 5 energetic young boys, they are G-dragon(link), T.O.P, Taeyang, Seungri, and Daesung.
BIGBANG is one of the most popular singer groups in Asia. They just released their new album “Alive” this spring, and they are now bringing the new album to a concert tour around the world starting this March in Korea.

The BIGBANG Alive Galaxy World Tour will go through 16 countries and 25 cities around Asia, North and South America, Europe and other countries. Luckily I had the chance to go and see their concert at Honda Center in LA on November 3rd, 2012.
The concert started at 8:00 P.M, there were supporting stations which sold BIGBANG related products such as T-shirts, wristbands, bandanas, glowing sticks, and Crown Lanterns(they are the official glowing hand lanterns for BIGBANG) for their fans. The stadium was full of VIPs (VIP is what BIGBANG will call their fans) and the ground floor standing sections was also full.

Once the concert started, BIGBANG came out of containers with a shape like space capsules from outer space. BIGBANG started the concert with the first song “Tonight”, which made the whole crowd on fire. All VIPs started screaming and waving their crown lanterns along with the tempo of the song.
They performed not only their songs in the new album “Alive”, but also some old but famous songs from their previous albums. BIGBANG also brought up performances by individuals of the group with their solo songs, such as “Crayon” by G-Dragon, “Only Look at You” by Taeyang, “Wings” by Daesung, “VVIP” by Seungri, and my favourite “High High” by G-Dragon and T.O.P.

The atmosphere started boiling when they started their new electric dance song “Fantastic Baby” and one of their earliest but best known songs “Haru Haru”. We all stood up and started dancing and screaming like the party would never end.

The day of the concert was also member T.O.P’s birthday. The staff members brought up an enormous birthday cake with T.O.P’s name on it. All of us sang the Happy Birthday song to T.O.P while he was blowing the candles.

After BIGBANG did the farewell to the audience, the VIPs all seemed like they didn’t have enough fun. No one left the stadium, everyone was waving their crown lanterns and screaming “Encore! Encore! Encore!” As a result, BIGBANG came on stage again and performed another few songs.
This is the most exciting concert I have ever attended. I enjoyed the performance, the fans were amazing. Some of the audience were asian, but there were a lot of Americans too. What shocked me the most was that, even though fans come from different countries, but they all can sing BIGBANG’s songs in Korean.

My ears are full of screaming and my arm just couldn’t stop waving with other people. My eyes are obsessed with the colorful lights and heart just couldn’t stop beating as the same rhythms with the music.

This is surely an unforgettable night and hope I’ll see you soon BigBang!
