Everyone dreams.
Dreams are successions of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep.

Dreams can last for a few seconds, or as long as twenty minutes. We dream about people, memories or something that are totally unrealistic. However, that’s the reason why I love to dream, because in the dreams, there is nothing to worry about and you can do everything you want without paying any consequences.

In modern times, dreams have been seen as a connection to the unconscious. Scientists say that dreams can reflect some of human’s emotions, such as frightening, exciting, magical. The events in dreams are generally outside the control of the dreamer, with the exception of lucid dreaming, where the dreamer is self-aware.” Dreams can at times make a creative thought occur to the person or give a sense of inspiration. Lots of music, songs or paintings came from one’s dream.

Then, the word “dream” becomes more and more profound. People now more likely to refer the word into the meaning of “goals” and “hope.” For example, in the books, a dream can be a person, like Daisy is Gatsby’s dream in “The Great Gatsby.”

Dreams are mysterious but attractive. What am I gonna dream tonight?

“When I clamber to the heights of sleep,
Suddenly I meet your face.”
