Able

Knife in the back

Can’t breath.

Fall to my knees crying out

Can’t move.

Cold,

Lifeless,

Motionless.

Motionless, like the sea on a calm day

or the calm before a storm.

Something is coming, but not even I knows when.

Only when the stars align will time begin to move.

The knife will be removed,

and I will be able to breath,

I will be able to move,

I will be able.

Zipped Up

Trapped.

Caged like an animal.

Can’t speak out for fear of punishment.

Must speak out for fear of death.

How do you live when you can do nothing?

Either way you are unhappy.

Words stuck behind the glass

Like finger paintings on a frosted window.

Flipped and confusing on the other side,

But leaves a mark in the morning light.

The Foxes and Coyotes

ere

In a great desert lived Foxes and Coyotes.

They got along great for a time.

A holy man led them both to an oasis.

To a desert paradise.

The Oasis sought to divide them.

Eventually the Oasis did.

Foxes and Coyotes were brothers once.

But both now fight and die.

The other desert creature sought to end the bloodshed.

They drafted an unbreakable truce.

Foxes gleefully accepted, their numbers had withered down.

Coyotes barely accepted, not wanting to share with the Foxes.

Time passed, the Coyotes outnumbered the Foxes.

They attempted to exclude Foxes from oasis lands.

The Coyotes launched an attack and surprised the Foxes.

The Foxes had something the coyotes did not.

Courage and an unbreakable will.

The Foxes stopped the Coyote attack.

The Coyotes lost much of their land.

The other desert creatures were furious and tried for another truce.

The Coyotes vowed for vengeance and would eventually attack again.

Zoom In.

So, since my previous blog about the world’s smallest things, people are asking me about the largest things in the world, too. Therefore, I decided to continue my adventure about this incredible world.

Let’s check it out! Here some really interesting largest things.

First of all, the largest chair. This is not Photoshopped —it’s an actual photograph of the world’s largest chair, in the piazza of Manzano, Italy, a city of chair makers where it was created.

Made in 1962 for the Seattle World’s Fair, the world’s largest birthday cake, weighted 25,000 pounds and stood 23 feet tall. The ingredients list includes the 10,500 pounds of flour needed for the cake.

World’s largest piece of cheese. Dutch gourmet cheese maker Beemster made a record-breaking cheese wheel. The giant cheese measures 6 feet wide and weighs 1,323 pounds.

This mother-of-all writing utensils weighs in at 21,500 lbs and stretches to 76 feet long and it’s a version of the classic No. 2. The world’s largest pencil was built in New York by Ashrita Furman and many talented craftsmen.

Officially recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records, Gregory Dunham, from California’s Stockton, has built the world’s largest motorcycle. Greg spent three years in his workshop crafting this 11 feet tall, 20 feet long monster bike which is powered by a 8.2 litre (V8 engine and has tires that are 1.88 m tall. The 6,500-pound motorcycle with a price tag of $300,000 and it is totally rideable.

Big things are not cute, but they are still amazing and huge as human’s dreams. Because the knowledge is endless, so is creativity.

So, zoom in this world and you will discover more.

Caterpillar & Butterfly

fefre

A butterfly populates the world with color and shine.

These creatures show natural beauty to all of mankind.

They start life as caterpillar, they’re ugly in a way.

Fat little creatures that must keep predators at bay.

They eat leaves and shed skin, a never ending feast.

It is not a beautiful creature yet, it is just a beast.

The Caterpillar is done shedding its skin.

Its life as a beast is almost at an end.

It finds a nice sturdy tree to hang itself from.

It will emerge from its cocoon when its transformation is done.

Weeks pass.

The Caterpillar sleeps fast.

Slowly there is a movement in its temporary tomb.

It emerges from its prison like a baby from the womb.

Its wings are damp it cannot fly.

It must dry itself or it will die.

Finally the butterfly is ready, the world is now fair.

Killer of these magical creatures now must beware.

Thanksgiving Dog Adventures

Alright guys I’m really coming up with nothing to entertain, but if you like dogs enjoy these pictures. Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving!

Click the link ^^^ , but don’t listen to the message it is portraying. Turkey is delicious.

So for months I had been talking with a friend about how our dogs should have a “play date” because we both though they’d get along.

Over break we decided to get them together with our other friends’ dog.

I feel like I am talking about myself in like 1o years when we all have children getting together…. anywho we took the dogs to the park and let them meet each other and then off to the dog park to run around and play with sticks.

Now enjoy these pictures of dogs drinking water and playing with sticks. 🙂

Silly Ella drinking water like a person (above)

Kai “The Best Dog Ever” Shiffman trying to attack the water

He decided the water was no threat and that he could then drink it

Very proud of his stick which he is guarding from a greedy Ella who took every stick from Kai

I just wrote a blog about our dogs playing in the park and allowed you to look at pretty pictures……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..dots are interesting.

Have a good one!

Star Trails.

Stars and the galaxy are things that attract photographers. After seeing a few pictures of star trailing photography, one of my friends fell in love with the beautiful circles the stars draws. And soon I found that it is actually really interesting.

Star trailing is basically shooting a picture with a very long exposure time at night. While the sky is being exposed, the earth will rotate but the stars will not. Therefore, the light of the stars are captured by the camera over time and the light will draw curly lines or semi-circles.

Creating star trail images is a fun technique that can occur a lot of different results depending on the shooting location, foreground objects and number of visible stars. While the technique can be simple, proper setup and then proper post-shooting preparations are very essential.

Shooting star trail pictures requires a camera with a tripod in order to make the lens steady. The camera should not move at all during the shooting process. Find north and aim the frame at that direction to get a centered and circle shaped star trail. Set the camera to a very low ISO and long a exposure time to shoot, and it works even better if the camera has a bulb mode.

Due to the length it requires to shoot the star trails, make sure there are not any moving objects around that may run into the frame, because they may mess up the whole picture. Control other light sources and be sure not to let any other light come into the frame except the stars. Set the focus to infinity so that star trails will be sharp and clear.

Charge the battery to full,  then put on warm clothes and begin shooting tonight !!!

Nine One One

It was just a regular sunday night until it wasn’t.

I was sitting at home with a friend enjoying some pizza after playing Madden 13 when all of a sudden my sister bursts in the door yelling.

I was sitting at the table and she rushed in telling me that there is a huge fire right behind a property that we rent out.

She said that she drove by and called 9-1-1 and told them that there was a very large fire and told them the location.

After finishing dinner my Dad and I decided we should probably make sure our property was not on fire and that our storage was ok.

After we had determined our stuff was in no imminent danger and had a talk with our renters we wanted to check it out.

We walked down a long stretch of driveway to see a house engulfed in flames, making loud popping noises like something was exploding, and a firetruck parked right in the middle of two trees.
