We’ve Heard Enough About Rebecca Black!

Good lord! Most of us know who she is. The girl who made a hit song that blasted through the charts and made iTunes enough money to take over the world and give out free iPads to everyone in Africa. She became famous within the time it takes for your heart to beat twice. But, what she really did was she turned the best day of the week into a NIGHTMARE!

I promised myself that I would refrain from posting my feelings on the internet so I will try to keep my comments at a calm and reasonable level.

Since the thirteen year old “superstar” hit the web her fame has grown to a completely unnecessary and undeserved spot at the top. Seriously man, if girls like this can hit number 2 on MTV‘s charts with a song like that then I want nothing to do with the music business and every real artist that has ever made music should just quit now.

*Now, just a side note: I just want to point out that it doesn’t really surprise me that much that she reached number two because MTV sold out a long time ago so… Going on.

You were so cool MTV. What happened?

I don’t wish this girl any harm. Of course, I would never, but unfortunately she has received some seriously negative feedback. Comments that are extremely unnecessary and totally uncalled for. But, I have to say, it is all her parents fault. Okay, don’t get mad yet. My point is, I don’t understand how anyone could let their child go through that! The girl thinks she’s famous! And she is, but FOR ALL THE WRONG REASONS. Her parents had to know that the song was TERRIBLE and they said nothing! They just let her make the song and as opposed to being disappointed by her parents for a few moments in her lifetime that she will eventually get over and forget in her aging years (seeing as how she is only thirteen) she now has to endure the ridicule and abuse from the entire world. Am I the only one who thinks that is so wrong?

The other thing that bothers me is that this girl who created possibly the worst song in music history, worse than Vanilla Ice‘s attempt at being a rapper, was not only interviewed on the Tonight Show, but she is planning and working on producing an album. Meaning, a CD that can hold up to 13 more songs about the six other days of the week. Seriously guys, how is this happening?

Has the music world just gone to complete…Heck!?

I’m disappointed in society man. This is not okay. Not gonna lie, Britney’s Spears’ Oops…I Did It Again doesn’t seem so bad anymore. Britney’s not that innocent, but Rebecca Black is not that talented.

WTF?!
